Yes, our team can match any existing wall color, even if you don’t know the paint code. If you have a bucket of the paint around, we can use a wet sample to replicate the color. If you don’t have a bucket, we can take a chip of paint from the wall to match the color. 

How often your home should be painted depends on a number of factors, including the types of surfaces that have been painted, the type of paint used, and the environment. Generally speaking, exteriors in Michigan usually need to be painted every five to ten years. Interior rooms tend to vary depending on the type of room. Bathrooms and kitchens tend to be subjected to higher levels of humidity and require more frequent painting. These rooms often need to be painted every three to four years. Other rooms can last five years or more. 

You do not need to be home while our team paints. If we’re performing interior work, we will need a way to access the house if you’re not present. It’s often easiest if someone is present at the start of the project to provide access. 

Our team will cover the furniture and floors before any painting begins. We can also move furniture if it’s against walls that need to be painted. We do ask that you move any fragile items or precious family heirlooms before we arrive. We take great care with our work, but having you move delicate possessions can prevent any accidents from breaking something you deeply care about. 

We do not recommend purchasing the paint yourself, because you’ll probably pay more for it. As professional painters, we receive a discount on paint due to the quantity of paint we purchase and the relationships we’ve built with suppliers. It’s going to save you time and money if you have us buy the paint after you select the color.
