VanDerKolk Painting was founded in 1991, beginning as a residential painting service based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We rapidly expanded our services to provide for all the painting needs of our clients and customers, and we expanded the areas we provide service to. Today, we offer a variety of painting and related services to clients throughout West Michigan, including the Kalamazoo area. 

We aim to provide our clients with the highest quality paint jobs and an unmatched customer service experience. One of the biggest differences between us and our competitors is that we employ our painters as full-time employees, and we never work with contractors. This gives us more flexibility and control over our scheduling, and it enables us to closely match the painter with the right experience and skill set for your job. We employ painters who have certifications in areas such as RRP lead paint removal, lead paint abatement, and aerial lift platform training, ensuring safety for anyone onsite when your project gets done.
